"A good way to judge a man is by what he says, a better way is by what he does, and the best way is by what he gives." - Anonymous
I am never one to judge, for the sake of euphemism, let me say I will suggest some great sites on the web for my people (Again, I know you are out there faithful readers, I appreciate your modesty in never letting me know how much you love the blog by never providing comment).
Some are for application, some for information, some for kicks and giggles.... (and you know how much I enjoy my kicks and giggles). I would say this is the 'top ten,' 'top twenty,' blah, blah, blah, but I don't like math- that is for neologic to discuss with you, so I will just list some great sites.
Application
In reference to emailing:
Microsoft new version of Outlook is great, because for the extra $45 you can access all of its features from anywhere you may be: outlooklive.msn.com
Google's gmail is fantastic especially if you like being observed by 'big brother' (read 1984 or subscribe at www.gmail.com to know what I mean).
In reference to organizing:
One can manage all projects, track team members, conquer the world, etc. with Basecamp applications- go to www.basecamphq.com
HipCal takes calendar services to another level: hipcal.com
Community
In reference to being social:
Yahoo allows you to create your own microcosm at: 360.yahoo.com
Make and break friends at: www.friendster.com
In reference to bookmarking:
Stop staring at other people at the web cafe, just go to del.ici.us to see what sites they browse
See what news and info other people find cool at www.digg.com
I am a worshiper of books- get turned on to people of the same sort at www.librarything.com
In reference to video sharing:
This is the best video site I can spot to date: blip.tv
Gotta support Google: video.google.com
Information and navigation
In reference to blogs:
At www.technorati.com, you can promote your own blog and search for others by topic
In reference to maps and miscellaneous
There is a world of possibilities at your fingertips at earth.google.com (the Plus version will allow you to pretty much have the ability of a GPS system)
Well, I have just cooked up a baker's dozen for you, so feel free to give them a taste....
I feel that I have been too informational today, and it being Monday and all (ahh looks like someone's got a case of the Mondays...) I feel like I have to hook you up with some sort of 'fun' link, so there you go...contentmuse out!
